ATS presents carbon LSD street version at a cost of lower than standard metal LSD (there are a few exceptions). It has two carbon discs and two metal discs. The standard carbon LSD has 12 internal discs.
Applications - available for the all models to which a standard carbon LSD is offered.
Features
● Gentle and quiet operations which is very close to an open differential or the stock viscous / gear type LSDs. This gentle transition from the open position to lock is very easily accepted by a driver who would like to try a clutch type LSD for the first time.
● Excellent performance which is better than the viscous / gear type LSDs.
● The LSD is effective at a much lower initial torque than a metal LSD, which promises a longer product life
● Very high adaptability to many LSD oils from different manufacturers
● Can be upgraded to the standard carbon LSD or to the metal LSDs
● Lower price than the standard metal LSD (there are a few exceptions)
For competition use, ATS recommends the standard LSDs.
